Lee K.: "In short, Fantastic presentation, excellent service, food matched the stature of the setting. Oakley Hall is well worth a trip for anyone looking to experience top notch dining. We were well informed through polite and discreet service and each course was delivered at a well timed intervals. As the food is seasonal and local I wont run through what we were served except to say that you can be confident that whatever you select will be thoughtfully presented and to represent the best of the ingredients involved. Food miles are stated next to many dishes and promote the best local suppliers. So you can make an ethical choice about farm to fork or simply a guarantee of freshness and quality. The only lack of praise I can state, through the 9 different plates we sampled, was that the portion size of the white fish on samphire with a lobster and crab ravioli was undersized for a main. I went on to arrange for my Association's 2014 Christmas Party to be held here off this single experience (an excellent event delivered as expected) and will be returning again very soon, particularly to try the new Glasshouse restaurant which hopefully benefits from the GS discount, if not I will go anyway!"
